More about creating an Isolator Effects in Traktor here: Important note about FX banks functionality! All the FX banks are designed to work individually. Meaning, if for example some of banks are engaged with effects and you switch to other FX bank all the engaged effect will automatically go off no matter what. This only stands for FX banks 2 to 8!! So, if effects in any of mentioned banks are ON and you wish to access 1st FX bank to manually make deck assignment for FX unit, all the activated effects will just stay ON and this goes the same for all the deck banks. Bottom line is: if you got some effect or FX combo running and you would like to save it all you need to do is change from current bank to any of deck banks or 1st FX bank. Connect the right K2 to your PC or Mac with the USB cable provided. As we want to use the soundcard on each K2, they must both be connected by USB. Your application can only see one audio device at a time and so the two K2's need to be joined in software.

I'm not gonna say which effects are loaded in each preset - that's up to you to explore The bottom pad row is mapped for brake effects - two laser outs, TTFX and transpose. This effects are meant to be dropped on top of builds! There is a trick with this pad row. While color is cyan this effects will act normaly as usual, but there is a release effect mode (aka rmx1000) mapped in those as well. To switch between brake and release mode just hold bank's shift and hit 5th FX bank button and all the pads will switch from cyan to red.

P.S.: I have even another question but it don't have nothing matter with the mapping. Into the log of version 3.2.1 is write that it's possible to share my sets directly on SoundCloud and MixCloud. I found the functions about SoundCloud but I don't find anything about MixCloud. Where they are located?

Loving the extra effects over the last mapping you made (which was great by the way.) One thing I'm wondering about is functionality for the remix decks. In the last mapping the hotcue buttons were replaced with one-shot / loop-launch buttons for a remix deck. This mapping doesn't seem to do that (unless I'm missing something?) Honestly though great work!

A couple of months ago I bought the Allen & Heath Xone K2 controller as addition to my mobile setup during travelling. I wanted a small and compact controller that would still be able to do the job. At first I thought of mapping it for 4 decks as I usually work with a 4 deck setup on my DJM800 with Denon SC2000 controllers and a NI Maschine controller for the FX, but after looking into the Xone K2 documentation it meant I would need to work with the layering and I didn’t want to make the mapping to complex. After plenty of brainstorming, looking up reviews, checking other mappings and reading the Traktor Bible, I decided to go with a single layer mapping for 2 decks with all necessary transport, EQ and FX controls.

This is one of its big attractions. Two could be used together to double up (it’s possible to aggregate audio), or you could use one or two of them with an analogue mixer.
